The Belen projectile point is a Paleoindian point found, maybe exclusively, in the Central Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. It is the second most abundant Paleoindian point found in the area, second only to the Folsom point. It was named after the town of Belen, New Mexico by Ele Baker in the 1960's and documented at some length by Jim Judge in 1973. It has not been dated.
This WEB page has the purpose of introducing the Belen point to the reader and discussing its possible association with the Plainview point.
